Private pregnancy support for public hospital births

Receive prenatal and postnatal care from Annerley’s experienced midwives and OT&P’s private obstetricians while taking advantage of the cost savings in Hong Kong’s public healthcare system. Our aim is to provide you with a better view of you and your baby’s overall health, and guide you through your pregnancy and the eight weeks after birth.

Once you’ve registered and created your file at a government clinic, maternity care will be split between our midwives and obstetricians. We’ll share your medical file so you can provide it to government hospital staff during follow-up appointments and on your due date.

When should I book my package?

Expectant parents can get in touch within the first trimester of the pregnancy to enquire about our Nexus packages. Our services can start as early as when you discover you’re pregnant.

What are the appointments like?

During your first appointment, we provide a comprehensive schedule of what to expect in the upcoming weeks, with information about when tests will be conducted and approximate dates of the next sessions. We welcome partners to be involved at every stage and encourage them to come to any of the prenatal appointments and classes.

We felt supported from the get-go with the Nexus package. It was a perfect way to link the public and private systems, also a great link between the HK and UK systems. Our private doctor, Dr Stevenson, was fantastic, especially as I had quite a few complications to deal with along the way. We were lucky enough to be paired with Michelle as our midwife from our 8 week scan all the way through to 6 weeks after giving birth. She was kind, patient and made us feel like no question was too silly to ask! I cannot rate the whole experience highly enough. I would recommend this to anyone who is giving birth in the public system and would like some of the perks of the private system.

The baby classes, home visits and additional support groups are great and really help with the whirling craziness that is the first weeks (and possibly months) of life with the new baby. We found that the personal touch and genuine care expressed by all the midwives made us feel welcome to discuss any and all issues and concerns with pregnancy, parenting and the baby!

When I found out we were expecting our 6th baby, we were only a few months away from moving from America to Hong Kong for my husband's job.
