What Objective Psychometric Tests Can We Do for ADHD?

Given a potential problem of recall bias and subjective interpretations of certain symptoms of ADHD, there are also objective tests that can be performed to measure levels of attention. Test of Everyday Attention for Children (2^nd edition), or TEA-Ch2 in short, is a tool used by psychologists and researchers. It is an assessment that can be performed within an hour to test a child’s ability to maintain general attention, sustained and selective attention. The results are then compared against the general population to aid interpretation, inform the relevant intervention and monitor the treatment progress.
