Getting enough exercise is essential for menopausal women.

Below are some of the natural ways to reduce the symptoms of menopause:[1]

  • Exercise regularly 
  • Achieve and maintain a healthy weight
  • Eat foods rich in calcium and vitamin D
  • Eat lots of fruit and vegetables
  • Eat foods that are high in phytoestrogens such as soybeans and soy products, tofu, tempeh, flaxseeds, linseeds, sesame seeds and beans
  • Drink lots of water 
  • Reduce refined sugar and processed foods 
  • Eat protein-rich foods
  • Don’t skip meals 
  • Limit alcohol and caffeine 
  • Quit smoking
